Field Work
Systems I've shipped, end to end.
Side projects, run like production: designed, built, deployed, and operated — data pipelines to payment flows to the Kubernetes clusters underneath. The same rigor I bring to client systems.
01 / LienPulse
Geospatial deal analysis for county lien auctions.
A real-estate intelligence platform that ingests county tax-auction data and turns it into ranked, mappable deals. Properties are scored by estimated-value-to-bid ratio, clustered on an interactive map, and filterable by county, city, price, and auction status.
Design, backend, frontend, data pipeline & infra — solo build
- Kotlin / Spring Boot
- PostgreSQL + PostGIS
- Leaflet
- Flyway
- Stripe
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Interactive county map with marker clustering and color-coded deal quality
- Deal scoring engine ranks every property by Est/Bid ratio (Great / Good / Fair / Over)
- Multi-facet filtering: county, city, price range, auction date, favorites
- JWT + Google OAuth authentication with per-auction Stripe purchases

02 / Family Reunion Website
A production event platform for a 180-person family reunion.
Full-stack RSVP and reunion planning platform running live in production: multi-person family RSVPs, per-family fee calculation with Stripe checkout, an interactive multi-generation family tree, QR-code check-in with SMS notifications, and a role-gated admin panel.
Product, backend, frontend, deployment & operations — solo build
- React 18 + TypeScript
- Vite
- Kotlin / Spring Boot
- PostgreSQL + Flyway
- Google OAuth
- Stripe
- Twilio SMS
- K3s on Oracle Cloud
- Interactive d3 family tree spanning five generations and 180+ members
- Multi-person RSVP with per-family budget math and Stripe payments
- QR-code event check-in with SMS + email notifications
- 102 backend integration tests and 40 frontend API-contract tests

03 / Enoc Construction
A marketing site with a hardened self-serve photo pipeline.
Before/after showcase site for a renovation contractor, built as a single deployable Spring Boot JAR. Visitors compare transformations with draggable sliders; the owner uploads new project photos through a token-guarded admin flow — no developer needed.
Design, backend, frontend & hardening — solo build
- Kotlin / Spring Boot
- Vanilla JS
- H2 file database
- Single-JAR deploy
- Draggable before/after comparison sliders on every project card
- Uploads validated by image magic bytes — client Content-Type is never trusted
- UUID-renamed storage with path-traversal protection and immutable cache headers
- 16 integration tests covering the API and upload security paths
